• Regularly attend community events to promote parent company Opportunity for Work and Learning (OWL) mission: to help individuals obtain and maintain long term employment, as well as the promotion of the fully owned for profit subsidiary Lexington Manufacturing, and the apprenticeship program of the Skilled Trade Academy, specifically in relation to OWL's mission.- Creation and implementation of communication related policies, documents, and programs, including the VoIP system, for efficient and reliable internal and external communication.- Plan, organize, promote, and execute annual OWL Foundation Golf Outing Fundraiser, OWL’s sole fundraiser, performing targeted donor research, securing sponsorships, venue and vendors, and all pre and post-event material including invitation design and thank-you letters, as well as other public events hosted by OWL, LMC, and STA.- Digital and print marketing content creation, including social media and website posts, monthly newsletters, fundraising appeals, community outreach for OWL, the for-profit, fully owned subsidiary, Lexington Manufacturing Center, and the apprenticeship program, the Skilled Trade Academy.- Grant writing duties, including securing $38,000 in grants in 2023 for OWL and STA.- Administrative access to all communication and marketing related software, online profiles, non-profit databases, and inter-company technologies.- Assisting in strategic planning, specifically the rebrand of OWL in 2021, and LMC in 2023, including logo, content, and marketing creation- Board Management, specifically in regards to the organization of documents, policies, legal documents, meeting minutes, etc, as well as the creation and implementation of programs and software for efficient, reliable, and secure board communication.

Promote activities by creating monthly newsletter, emails, and Facebook posts, corresponding with community, and supervising fundraising programs; Organize operations, such as scheduling and recording executive meetings, planning, promoting, and sponsorships for major events such as the Golf Scramble, Annual Dinner, Political Luncheons, monthly luncheons, etc.; Administer financial procedures, such as invoicing, event payment, and balancing bank statements; Field tourism related phone calls and questions, and keep tourism materials up to date

I am in charge of organizing, planning, marketing, and coordinating our major charity events, including the annual ALS dinner, Golf Outing, Bachelor Auction, and Bowling event, as well as other player appearances. Due to Hurricane Sandy, the BlueClaws took on a Restore the Shore Initiative, of which I was put in charge as the contact person. I received and filed over 400 grant applications, of which, we chose to receive $1,000 grants from money that the BlueClaws have raised and received as donations. I am also responsible for mailing out and filing donation requests every week. General responsibilities include 2 hours of cold calls a day, phone calls at my desk regarding the charity events, as well as other clients, ticket sales. theme night promotion, and working at the Information Booth during the games.

I was responsible for game day set up and break down, phone calls in regards to specific theme nights, marketing in the community with flyers and schedules, and different promotions during the games. The intern class as a whole was responsible for the Hurl- the- Pearl promotion, which was our promotion to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. We raised $17,720 during the 2012 season.
