I am currently studying a Level 5 Diploma in Web Development with the Code Institute which I started in January 2024 and due to finish by January 2025. The course focuses on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. Frameworks and libraries I am familiar with from the course are Django, Flask, Bootstrap and Materialize. I enjoy collaborating in Code Institute hackathons, which allow me to connect with fellow coders and apply my skills in real-world projects. I have been Scrum Master in two of these Hackathons. In the summer of 2023, I completed the Avado Data Analyst Bootcamp with Fast Futures, where I gained experience in data analysis using Matplotlib and Pandas, analysing an electric vehicle dataset. After this bootcamp for a month or two I explored Kaggle and did some basic exploratory data analysis on there.My background as a trained musician has provided me with transferable skills, including exceptional attention to detail and a logical mindset, which I apply in my work in technology. I am actively seeking opportunities in web development or data analysis. As a neurodiverse individual on the autistic spectrum, I feel I'm strongly suited to a role in the tech industry and I also enjoy working with data too.I'm currently looking for an entry-level junior software developer/engineer role, or a technology apprenticeship/academy/graduate scheme/programme.In my free time, I enjoy large jigsaw puzzles, playing in amateur orchestras, going on music courses, cooking, and running a small Etsy side hustle I started in January 2023.
