I assess plant species for the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, focusing on species within the TIPAs (Tropical Important Plant Areas) projects in Cameroon, Uganda, and Bolivia.

I updated IUCN Red List assessments for the world's birds, acting as team lead for Africa. This included improving datasets and distribution maps and collaborating with experts around the world.

I assessed the extinction risk of plant species using IUCN Red List criteria and had the opportunity to work on a range of projects including West African trees for the Global Tree Assessment, the useful plants of Bolivia, and the genus Myrcia, found particularly in the Atlantic Forests of Eastern South America.
