• Editor of Commentary, the RCP's membership magazine. Responsibilities:
• Planning and implementing a commissioning strategy that meets the needs of members and furthers the objectives of the RCP.
• Commissioning features, artwork and illustration.

• Designing magazine pages (InDesign) and working with the art director to create the magazine's visual style.

Newham Dockside

• I worked as sole member of editorial staff responsible for delivering the Newham Mag, the council’s fortnightly 40pp flagship publication. Responsibilities included:
• Writing, editing and proofing all copy for every issue.
• Researching and sourcing new features, and managing recurring features.
• Reviewing and managing distribution.
• Coordinating designers, printers and distributors to ensure each magazine is delivered on time and within budget.
• Managing relationships with stakeholders across the council, adapting topical council priorities to create articles suitable for a lifestyle magazine.

Working as part of the Marketing department, responsibilities included:Producing print and season brochures, liaising with external companies, designers, printers and internal stakeholders.Copywriting, editing and proof reading promotional materials, direct mail letters, e-bulletins and web pages.Liaising with production companies on the release of.

Responsibilities including:Copywriting for online and print publication, including conducting and reporting interviews on behalf of the magazine. Writing features on music, film and travel.Driving high engagement on social media.Coordinating photo shoots, including commissioning studios, stylists, photographers etc.
