Occasionally, I fix tech-related items such as screens or registers. I also occasionally will walk a client through resolving issues that we can't resolve through our connection software. For example, I walked a client who was self-proclaimed to be completely computer illiterate through several command prompts just through a phone call alone, which actually resolved her issues, resulting in some pretty happy clients. The conversation went something like this:"Okay so what's on your screen? Okay, so can you type in that black box? Good. Now delete what you typed and type this is. C-H-K-D-S-K SPACE FORWARD SLASH R SPACE FORWARD SLASH F, SPACE, C:. No, the one that looks like two dots stacked on top of each other. Hit shift first. Okay, perfect." -- Hours later --- "Okay, so what's on your screen now? Great! You fixed it! Lets reboot to make sure." and etc. Point is, I can walk people through complicated technical steps no matter how (il)literate they are with computers or other tech._______- Helping develop web content for their new website- Created a website for them as a side-project , including promotional flyers through adobe products, including the creation of programs for sales and invoicing.- Created over a hundred tutorial videos for their software and use- Onsite technician for POS systems - Diagnostics/technical support for multiple systems and their various models- Repairing and refurbishing old POS systems, cash drawers, and other products for resale - Technical Support for both personal and company use for the owner and business friends, including building a personalized computer for his daughter.- Projects such as the tutorial videos and creating a personal site for the business were side projects I initiated.==Now I am a sales partner with the owner of the company. ==I successfully sold an account to the CEO of filibertos simply by creating a solution thtat tailored to their specific interests, resulting in a successful parrltnership.

Solutions store specialist, received Broadband communications certificate as part of the 6 week training program. First student they allowed in the class and was given special attendance privileges that took a LOT of persistence to receive.Unfortunately, my health issues became more serious at this time which made it difficult to continue working here. My health issues are now resolved and properly cured up, but it took a toll, so I no longer could work there.:( It was a great place to work though, and my recruiter was amazing and really pushed for me for my hire even though being a student generally was a standard non-negotiable for the company specifically for the training portion (which revolved around learning how to use their system for orders -- surprisingly more complicated than it sounds, haha).Despite missing a huge amount of the class due to school, I still passed the class (80% or above was passing), and even finished the 2 hour final in about 15 minutes =)

Cashier - nothing too extraordinary, but strangely fulfilling and because we were very understaffed, I performed multiple duties and would often stay late to help the closing manager.

Sell computers and printers, advise customers on the best technologies for their needs.My first job. Had no previous sales experience and was applying for a basic cashier position, but during the interview they found out I also had computer experience and the fact that I played a certain video game that apparently the rest of their computer sales staff also played gave me this wonderful opportunity. I really enjoyed working here.
