I am a Financial Management Advisor with more than 30 years management experience from the private sector, audit companies, Save the Children Denmark and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, with substantial experience within financial management and international development. I have lived in Uganda for 12 years posted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark; contracted on three Good Governance programmes funded by Austria, Denmark, EU, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. Working abroad in combination with long-term positions in Save the Children and Deloitte has given me practical experience from development and implementation of best practices in all aspects of financial management. This includes compliance reviews; assessments related to Value for Money, fiduciary risk, institutional assessment of CSOs and NGOs; development of financial manuals and guidelines; development of tools; capacity development of CSOs and NGOs; financial monitoring of CSOs and NGOs; project management and budget control; audit analysis and advisory role.
