Investigation of transitional metals-dependent enzymes involved in important biological process, including cell proliferation, tRNAs modification, and para-aminobenzoate (pABA) biosynthesis:• Characterized and studied mechanisms of Chlamydia protein associating with death domains (CADD), a manganese-iron oxygenase involved in the biosynthesis of pABA in Chlamydia trachomatis, and tRNA uridine(34) hydroxylase (trhO) involved in tRNAs modification in E.coli.

Carry out individual and collaboration research projects: "Starch hydrolysis by CuSO4/ascorbic mixture”, “Structure of the copper active site in polysaccharide monooxygenases”, “Sizing and Quality discrimination of whiteleg shrimps basing on hyperspectral imaging”, and “Fructosyl-Valine-Oxidase-Based Sensor for electrochemical diabetes assay”• Optimizing highly sensitive methods for determination of glucose generated in starch hydrolysis• Investigating the synergy between CuSO4/ascorbic acid and glycoside hydrolases• Analyzing X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR) data to gain insights into the copper active site of polysaccharide monooxygenases (PMOs)• Setting up a hyperspectral imaging system, preparing whiteleg shrimp samples, and performing imaging experiments• Expressing, purifying recombinant proteins of interests in E. coli BL21 (DE3) • Catalytic studying enzymes of interests by analytical instruments (HPAEC-PAD, HPLC, GC-MS) and computational software (GROMACS)
