Moved internally from the Life business towards Holding Control of business unit REAAL. Providing management reports to the Board of REAAL, and later as well also product owner of the (3 year) Operational plans. Which includes planning, instructions for the controllers in the different teams and the governance process in creating both reasonable and challanging plans for the next years.VIVAT originated after the split of SNS REAAL, following the nationalisation and subsequent sale to Anbang. The main part of 2014 I contributed to the sales process of VIVAT, both for the vendor assistance documentation and the investment memorandum. And subsequently the preparation of the dataroom, Q&A's and participation of the sessions with the buyer parties.During 2018 and 2019 the strategic review by Anbang resulted in the proposed sale of VIVAT to Athora and NN. I participated in this process by providing input for the sales process and answering questions of buyers on various topics but mainly related to the 3-year OP outlook. Currently working on the reportingchallanges of the Life/Pension vs P&C split towards our two shareholders.In 2019 I also participated in the replacement of SAS FM with Tagetik, which is the main management information tool for the controllers of VIVAT. This role gave me an detailed view on the workings of Tagetik and led to the role of product owner towards out IT department. Which includes bi-weekly retrospective and sprintplanning meetings to discuss and decide on priorities for the IT team to work on the next sprint.

Started in 2009 at SNS REAAL for the business unit REAAL as controller for Life insurances. Working in the team responsible for the financial control of the Life results, including review of the actuarial outcomes. In addition main financial contact for the Mortage business.

In this role I was the finance focal point for the Real Estate department at Shell Headquarters and the Security department for various Upstream and Downstream sites in The Netherlands. I also managed the financial aspects of residential properties in The Netherlands in a separate legal entity. My responsibilities included managing the monthly reporting process and discuss the results and comments with the businesses.

In this role I was primarily responsible for setting up and manage all the financial aspects of a separate legal entity within Shell. This entity manages residential properties for expatriate staff and I was involved in all aspects of month-end-closing, quarterly Group reporting and maintaining contacts with other Shell departments. My responsibilities also included creating the Annual Report and preparing Board meetings.

The activities from this role included managing the entire auditing process. In this role I was in charge of assistants and discussed audit findings with the client. My client portfolio included middle-market companies with a focus on health-care institutions.
