I am a Senior at the Miami University Farmer School of Business, with majors in Finance and Business Economics, along with a minor in Accounting. In my time here at Miami, I have developed my proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Python, R, and JMP. These technical skills have allowed me to begin learning the language of business, something I find fascinating. Courses such as Intermediate Financial Accounting, Economic Metrics, and Money and Banking have had a similar effect, laying a framework for me to pursue a career in banking and financial services.I love to collaborate with others on projects, and my past experiences with both leadership and teamwork have allowed to build my organization and communication skills. Serving as a project manager for Miami Business Consulting for the past two semesters has really allowed me to grow as a leader, specifically teaching me the benefits of a strong flow of communication. Inclusion and leading by committee were integral to team success during the First Year Integrated Core Client Challenge, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have developed those skills and learn what it takes to pitch an idea to a real-world institution so early in my college career.I am very passionate about putting people first, as at the end of the day it is individuals that make a business work.
