Two operational deployments: UNIFIL, the Lebanon, 1982; NATO's IFOR, Bosnia, 1996.Extensive experience in policy development, international cooperation (NATO, EU), doctrine development, and teaching. 4 Years as a diplomat (Military Attaché) stationed in Washington D.C., U.S., from 2005-2009. Last position: Chief Military Household (principal military and security advisor) to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander.Two Masters, one in Public Administration (University of Leiden) and one in Strategic Studies (US Army War College). Former Rotarian, member of 'Societeit De Witte', The Hague.Focus on teamwork; mentoring and coaching; challenge co-workers to raise level of performance.
