Since April 2021 I continued my involvement in EUV Productivity, but from now on within system engineering. In this role I am responsible for the EUV Productivity models and for the Productivity sections of the system-level design documentation.

Since 2016 I've worked for ASML on Productivity - that means testing & optimizing the amount of wafers per hour that can be processed in our machines. In 2019 I took over the Project Lead / Architect double-role in this project and in 2020 I transferred from a subcontract via Bright Society to a direct contract at ASML. Due to the growth in project size, at the same I choose to focus on the Architect work only.

Bright Society is a talent incubator, facilitating young Bright people to boost their early career. During a 3-year program these young academics, all with a PhD degree, discover their passion and talent. Through intensive guidance, facing challenges in a variety of companies they experience true inspiration.

I work on the further development of luminous ceiling panels within the department Large Luminous Surfaces, and focus mainly on optical measurements and design.

My PhD is part of a project titled “How to blend for function”, funded by the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI). The aim was to increase the understanding of solution processing of organic solar cells, by a combined theoretical and experimental approach. I was responsible for the main experimental part of this project, and worked in close collaboration with two theory-oriented PhD researchers working on modelling. Experiments involved all steps in the fabrication of organic solar cells and their in-depth electrical and structural characterization. I also developed in-situ methods to study the spin coating of these organic solar cells. The main focus was on the solution processing of thin films for polymer solar cells. During the last year I also focused on perovskite solar cells. By using newly developed measurement techniques I was able to elucidate the processes that occur in the few seconds in which the solar cell ink dries during spin coating. These processes determine the nanoscale structure, which in turn is one of the most important factors in the final solar cell efficiency. My research has aided our understanding of and control over the solar cell nanostructure.• Fabrication and electrical characterization of organic and perovskite solar cells• Analysis of nanostructure by atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy• Developed fast real-time experiments to investigate spin coating of solutions by laser interference, scattering, light absorption and x-ray scattering

Developed an all-solution processed organic solar cell with a new inkjet printable electrode

Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden gives exam preparation training for highschool students. Trainings are given in classes with an explanation given by the head teacher and then an intensive training of exam questions where the students can ask all questions to assistent teachers like me.

Teaching snowboarding to beginning snowboarders and working in the ski rental where I assisted in the choice of correct materials and did material maintenance

In the home care organisation Allerzorg the ICT was done by two part time students. We supported employees, installed new computers and introduced systematic improvements to the way or working.
