In the ESA Human and Robotic Exploration team I am responsible for the deployment, verification and validation of the ACES ground systems. ACES (Atomic Clocks Ensemble in Space) is one of the large payloads on the external platform of Columbus, the European module of the International Space Station. The ground systems include the control centre at CNES (Toulouse, France), the orbitography centre at DLR (Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany), a data processing centre in Paris, ground stations and laser tracking stations around the world and the network infrastructure to connect them all.Other projects:- Integration of the Columbus Ka-band terminal (ColKa) and its interfaces with the EDRS system- Development of the Columbus Data Management Infrastructure (CDMI), the next generation of onboard IP communications and computing system

I worked in the Space department of CGI (formerly Logica) on projects for the European Space Agency, ESA, and its prime contractors. In my last position I was part of ESA's AIV (Assembly, Integration and Verification) team for the Galileo Ground Control Segment.Notable projects:- AIV team lead for Galileo elements Spacecraft Constellation Control Facility (SCCF) and Key Management Facility (KMF)- Ground segment engineer in ESA's Galileo Ground Control Segment team, responsible for: - various elements - Classified Constellation Simulator (ClaCSIM) - Ground segment virtualisation

At Atos Origin I built software for the European Space Agency (both ground and flight software) in fixed-price projects. My role in these projects alternated between design leader and project leader.Notable projects: - Flight software for the Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG), the first European facility on the International Space Station- Ground segment for the SloshSat satellite- Simulator for European Drawer Rack (EDR)- Test programme manager at the ESTEC Test Centre
