•During the internship, I acted as a student team coordinator to lead the team for the four-week internship. •Researched and advised on the redevelopment of the Scott Base (New Zealand Antarctic research base) (such as building site, orientation, height and level of the building) to solve and validate the problems such as extreme weather and wind blasting. •Wrote a professional report and presented our redevelopment project to WSP engineers and staff.

•Oversaw three different types of construction sites including tunnel (bulk earthworks), bridge (foundation under river) and pavement to record and report any failure potentials. •Inspected and reported the overall progress of the project and recorded any significant milestones (finally the project was completed on time and on a budget). •Communicated with both team members and relevant stakeholders to conduct necessary on-site levelling and surveying and adjusted preliminary structural design drawings.•The bridge section of this project was reported as one of the most complicated railway bridge illustrations in both design and construction perspective on Chinese national TV in 2019.
