757 is a design studio founded by graphic designer Vaughn Shim and space designer John Han. At 757, our goal is to create a better lifestyle by studying the things people wear and eat and the places where people stay.We intend not to be bound by the limits of domains or fields, and hope to make people’s lives better by collaborating with professionals, artists and brands of all fields.Vaughn is a graphic designer, and John is a space designer. As a pair, we have experienced an energy that inspires us both while working together on several projects to design spaces and furniture pieces. Thus, we decided to found a design studio called 757 to continue our journey as creative designers, inspiring companions and good friends.“What we are doing together is similar to a great journey. Being with a good partner, sharing our ideas and visions and working together to achieve our goals- such process is not far from the essence of a journey. A journey is always fun and exciting. We are curious and excited to see the geography of the road that we will embark together.”

BR3 ProjectFurnitur Brand 3 Project - Ramei , GAHO, Castella한국인들의 삶의 방식, 의식구조, 기후, 사용성과 외형적 특성등을 중점으로 3개 브랜드가 실제 사용 및 소비할 수 있는 가구를 기획 및 제작, 해외 유통까지 장기 프로젝트이다.3개의 가구브랜드가 각각의 소비층과 디자인으로 개발되고, 프로젝트시 각각의 제품을 출시하며, 프로젝트외 각각의 제품들은 디자인 및 홍보 방식을 개별적으로 진행하게 된다.BR3 3사의 공동쇼룸이 2014년 11월에 오픈하여 공동 운영되고 있으며, 국내 시장 정착 후 인터네셔널 브랜드로 성장하게 될 것이다. 21세기를 어떠한 삶의 모습으로 살아가야 하는가. 한국인의 생활양식에 적합한 가구란 어떤 것인가. 라는 질문으로 이 프로젝트는 시작되었다.2003년 부터 지속된 의식주 프로젝트, 한국인생필품 프로젝트와 함께 어떤 집에 살 것이며. 어떤 옷을 입고, 어떤 음식을 먹을 것인가에 대한 연구들이 구체화되고 있으며, 구체적인 삶의 모습들과 마주할 것이며, 지속될 것이다.
