Movie Club was initiated with the aim of using cinema as a learning recreation activity in an otherwise strained life of people at IITs. An individual relates oneself with what he/she sees at the big screen. Cinema is used here as source of inspiration in form of biopics and a way to broaden one's creativity, imagination (Sci-Fi). Here, I was responsible for establishing the required setup for screening, then organize weekly screenings and various quizzes and competitions related to the club.

SME (Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a society of students headed by students in guidance of a Faculty member. It regularly organizes events and competitions such as quizzes, guest talks, design competitions etc. to make sure that the students technically enjoy their stay at the college and relate the academic knowledge with its real world application. My responsibilities included representing my batch in society, organising various activities/competition and cast new activities which can help the society achieving its goal of learning with fun. Being the Co-Editor of SME magazine, I also worked regarding the publication of our newsletter 'News-Crunch' .
