Lead analyst on multidisciplinary team for CDC Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PS12-1201 (Category B) on the expansion of HIV testing for disproportionately affected populations.2. Served as project officer of two funded hospitals to provide accessible and comprehensive support and coordinated services for people living with HIV (PLWHA).Accomplishments: 1. Provided technical assistance to District hospitals, government agencies and CBOs to increase testing in Emergency departments and enhance provider skills in implementing opt-out HIV testing as apart of routine medical care.2. Promoted routine HIV testing to administrators, managers, and clinical directors and engaged them to support, develop, implement and maintain HIV testing programs in their facilities. 3. Ensured grant compliance by coordinating conference calls and meetings, attending on site visits to participating agencies, submitting narratives and reports and providing relevant training.4. Monitored and evaluated distribution of HIV rapid test kits to 35 clinical and non-clinical community partners to increase and provide targeted HIV testing among high risk populations. 5. Collaborated with key staff to plan, develop and implement integrated screening activities for STDs, TB and Hepatitis in accordance with CDC guidelines and recommendations.6. Served as subject-matter expert (SME) to 13 clinical programs on reimbursement for HIV testing from third party payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance, HMO programs).7. Provided guidance on usage of all available mechanisms to maximize reimbursements and program sustainability among programs transitioning into billing for integrated testing activities. 8.
