- Involved in Procurement of copper cables and aluminium power cables from foreign and local vendors, material worth of Rs. 150 crores p.a.- Started Hedging of Metal based raw material like Copper, Aluminium for received orders to minimize the risk of rate fluctuation & protecting profit margins- Risk Management of Purchase Department (Development of new sources for single source items, Hedging Strategies for major raw material, direct & indirect forex exposure, , etc.)- Executing Various Commercial Activities like Order Placing & Letter of Credits Requests using SAP, getting Account Statements & ensuring the reconciliation of vendor accounts on Quarterly basis- Cost Savings by locking the raw material prices below the budget level, sourcing from new developed vendors as well as re-negotiating with existing vendors and bringing new technology like replacing copper cables with aluminium
