Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies & the ability to identify tasks that require automation and lead the effort to automate them. Extensive experience with Cisco equipment, Extreme networks, Nortel including routers, switches. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of network infrastructure including hardware/software support, and special projects; plans, designs and implements data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems at remote sites.• Experience with most LAN/WAN technologies; VTP, VLAN, PVST, RSTP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF .Responsible for providing expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading the LAN/WAN Network communication infrastructure
