- Designed, Implemented and Consulted internal business teams in enabling automated accounting reporting required to launch new business initiatives. Involved in modeling of 100s of accounting use cases working with Accounting team and Business Product and Tech teams.- Design and implemented several modules in an internal self-service rules based accounting system which was responsible for recording billions of transactions every month for 100s of business teams. - Acted as team lead by performing design and code reviews along owning complicated components designs (Testing and Release management) of the system which provided self-service configuration capability that is owned by non-developers with testing and release management as first-class concepts.- Piloted first non-financial data modeling onto the system who can use the self-service capability to host and process business rules. The system now being used by several other non-financial teams to host business rules and expand in a self-service fashion.- Led discussions and provided technical guidance across various Financial and Non-Financial business teams to model rules and successfully launch them on to the platform reducing several years in efforts for future initiatives.- Won 4 Star Performer award for best performers awarded Quarterly during my time in the organization.

- Interned in eCommerce Financial Foundation team as part of Masters Optional Practical Training contributing to 1 credit towards graduation.- Worked with 2 teams (Financial BI, Accounting platform) apart from the team I interned to gather requirements and ramp up on the platform and understand the business use cases (8 different inventory accounting use cases)- Designed and implemented a service in Java using JDBC and internal job schedulers that helped team migrate all Amazon Inventory accounting from Canonical Business Event V1 to V2 platform which provided highly scalable and robust system and leveraged self-service capabilities to expand accounting rules for new launches. - Service also helped in validating inventory accounting rules between new and the legacy accounting platform.- Setup ETL jobs using SQL and PL/SQL to generate financial data from Data warehouse that was read to create accounting events to be processed by the new Accounting system to be reported into Sub-ledgers for Accounting partners.- Completed the intern project within the tenure of internship and performed demo and operational review for the service launch.
