Responsible for CSBG Legacy Products BU, to deliver solutions that meet Customers’ requirements during the part/equipment lifecycle.Spares: • Make decisions to Optimize the Financial Impact on the Engineering Change Orders (ECO).• Work with planners to set up Planning on the NPI & Global Spares parts, Copy Exactly (CE!) and Repair/Refurbish (R/C/X/D) parts.• Work on Lam Product's lifecycle from Initial release till Obsolescence/End of life.• Ensure Business continuity by working with Engineering and Product Management for OB/OS/EOL cases – Tech Memo/PCN or Licensed supplier• Drive Buyers, Foreign Trade and Accounts team on getting the new parts Costed & Priced for Spares extension and Procurement.• Coordinate with Supply chain, Planning and Engineering on the Rework/Repair/Refurb – Reverse logistics operations.• Address Spares parts’ Material Master Data change request via mailbox.• Drive CIP’s to increase productivity, minimize cost and save time.Manufacturing:• Involved throughout Lam Product’s lifecycle (forward builds & upgrades) by Configuring the Customer orders per BOM changes of ECO.• Assist in suggesting the Priority (Line down, Urgent or Normal) of ECO to Engineering as per Customer’s impact and need date.• Plan and Forecast the Order BOM’s and maintain the Active Configuration Quotes.• Drive effectivity date per Demand & supply analysis and POA release date, to Min. Excess & Obsolescence (E&O).• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Product Structure Engineer, Remote factory and Product Manager to confirm the Sales order Cut-in for Rework.• Drive Non-Standard Request (NSR) changes by coordinating with the NSR Project Engineer.• Configure orders and Min. E&O at Remote Factory/Contract Manufacturers.• Assess inventories on regular intervals of the OB parts (purchase and make parts), and take proactive actions to Min. E&O.• Drive CFT’s to get the issues resolved within the Cut-in date of Change order, by setting timelines and priorities.

Represented General Motors' Supply Chain Management as the Single Point of Contact, and was held responsible for the Supply chain activities of the automotive commodities like - HVAC, Exteriors, Fasteners, BIW components, etc. and resolving issues, if any, during the procurement of these commodities, for smooth functioning of build operations.• Assign parts to respective Material processors as per the UPC listing and load Miscellaneous Material Orders (MMO) by signing it off. • Order parts as per the Bill-of-Materials (BOM’s) and the Miscellaneous Material Orders (MMO) assigned to the processor, using GM’s proprietary tools. • Float the RFQ's to vendors, negotiate and work with Design Release Engineers, Program Team, and AP buyers for Source confirmation. • Issue Purchase order/requisition, ensure processing is accurate, amend /cancel PO’s as per requirement, resolve root cause for PO issues. • Follow-up on the parts and coordinate with Global suppliers to meet Material Required Date (MRD) set for each build of parts. • BOM Change Request/ Engineering Change Request sign off for production and prototype parts with breakpoints, during change of part numbers. • Manage the inventory by ensuring a Min/Max. order in stock and have Material Flow Coordinators to do a bin check on a regular basis. • Monitor supplier performance using Scorecard by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and by reviewing the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).• Liaison with Freight forwarder and Supplier when the shipment is stuck in customs and clear it by providing the necessary paperwork. • Part disbursement for Design Engineers for various testing by creating shippers to ship parts across globe. • Train and develop new engineers with GM applications for PPO materials on the processes and tools. • Analyze metrics data, identify gaps, develop & implement counter measures to close the gaps. Provide feedback to leadership.

“Surface and sub-surface characterization of holes drilled/reamed in 4340 steel.”The main objective of this project is to identify the number of effective holes that can be drilled in 4340 steel under various parameters (Residual stress, Micro-structure, Surface roughness, and Fatigue).My contribution to this project mainly was to find the surface roughness of the material 4340 steel after drilling and reaming operation using Optical Profilometer and provide the data biweekly to the Research Associate.
