Responsibilities Include:- Designing hardware based on customer provided PRD, Block Diagrams etc.- SOW creation for JDM projects.- Design, plan, document and develop new hardware products from initial requirements through prototypes to production ready. - Work collaboratively and diligently with fellow Hardware Team Members, Product Management, Software Engineering and Manufacturing to produce reliable, standards compliant, world-class products.- Schematic symbol development based on electrical & mechanical parameters, manufacturer, pricing, availability of parts etc.- Power designing, power sequencing and power budgeting implementation. Spreadsheet & scripts-based checklist implementation.- Assisting internal departments including Library Development, Layout, SI/PI, 3D, Thermal etc. & providing them layout and routing guidelines.- Preparing and maintaining documents throughout the design and development phase which includes system specifications, power requirements & other testing & configuration documents.- Meeting with Customers.- PCB Bring up, testing & debugging to ensure the proper functioning.- Agile PLM for Project Lifecycle Management, generating ECOs for tracking project revisions.

Responsibilities Include:- Finding multiple alternates of the parts used on the JDM projects depending upon required COC (Certificate Of Compliance), to ensure smooth product manufacturing without any delays.- Finding 2nd sources/alternates for NRND, obsolete, LTB, LLT parts and working with concerned Depts. (DCC/Materials/ENG) to ensure that the required ongoing database maintenance happens as automatically as possible.- Product and component lifecycle management support using 3rd party tools.

Designing PCBs for different US based customers

Handling inquiries for various equipment including transformers, generators, sensors, junction boxes, cables, PVC pipes, conduits. Taking quotations from different vendors and making of BOQ for the clients.
