Including but not limited to, bucketelevators, conveyor belts and cement dome reclamation system.-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and determine how to correct them, checkingblueprints and repair manuals to perform mechanical and electrical repairs to terminalequipment as necessary.

-Understands and interprets geological controls and forecast quality issues.-Ensures the stone feed to the Plant meets established quality standards, fully utilizingrecognized control systems and procedures.-Prepares schedules and operating instructions in areas and insures a satisfactory supplyof materials and supplies necessary to meet scheduled commitments and productinventory levels in the operation.-Requisitions the necessary maintenance to keep equipment and facilities in satisfactorycondition, provides scheduling necessary to least interrupt production flow.-Maintain survey and level control throughout Quarry.-Controls all direct labor and materials cost in the area (less maintenance, environmentaland land), recognizing the importance of fiscal budgetary balance.-Implementation and execution of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools such as 5s,Kaizen and Total Quality Management.-Helps initiate, plan, and execute special projects and evaluations, process improvements,hazard and nuisance control, reclamation, waste and cost control and operationsupgrading.- Responsible for the training, development and utilization of quarry productionemployees. Establishes and maintains a safe working environment and an atmosphere ofcontinuous improvement.-Drives Operational Excellence initiatives; establishes and maintains an environment thatutilizes the principles of Lean Manufacturing.

-Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meetchanging needs and requirement.-Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.-Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviewsdeliverables prepared by team before passing to customer or sponsor.-Effectively applies project management and ELCP (Equipment LifeCycle Process) \PLCP (Product LifeCycle Process) methodology and enforces project standards.-Manage design-related quality incidents and bring resolution to market. Minimizesexposure and risk on project. Prepares for customer engagement reviews.- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.- Manage the site teams upon customers’ initial site visit to ensure complete andaccurate surveying of the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) machinery equipment andassociated systems of the customers’ Utilities plant or Facilities (UPF).- Proper collection of the customers’ site UPF technical, legal and financialinformation for the M&E machinery equipment and associated systems withinservice scope.- To supervise and co-ordinate all activities for purpose of meeting project schedule,cost, quality and specification.- To co-ordinate a cross-functional team with good understanding of the scope ofwork and deliverables from each function.- To plan ahead, prioritise tasks and co-ordinate with the work of others.
