Harkirt co-founded DBS LLP, a premier litigation, real estate and corporate law firm. Harkirt practices civil and commercial litigation, including advising clients on real estate disputes, breach of contract matters, shareholder disputes, mortgage enforcement and estate litigation. He has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario and has represented clients at appeals, trials, and motions. Harkirt is also actively involved in the community. Most notably, he is the co-founder of the Punjabi Lawyers Association - a group aimed at providing continuous guidance and mentorship to law students as they begin their legal journey. Harkirt is also involved with various charities and non-profits aimed at providing food and resources to the less fortunate.
