• Performed condition assessments of 2000+ substation assets like transformers, circuit Breakers, and regulators using different test parameters and mathematical models • Gained an understanding of different protection principles, SLDs and SLPMDs (Single Line Protection & Metering Diagrams), and devices like relays, fuses, potential and current transformers while working on relay settings• Simulated different fault scenarios using ASPEN to achieve the desired clearing time for relay settings and maintain coordination with adjacent protection devices• Aided forced outages analyses by collecting ASPEN fault simulation and weather data• Performed lighting control circuit design using MicroStation

• Collaborated with a team of 10+ members to design and generate electrical drawings from sketches or mark-ups using AutoCAD & Revit• Gained extensive knowledge of concepts related to power distribution, lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, life safety and security systems while working with engineers on different projects• Inspected street lighting systems to ensure adherence to the City of Edmonton standards• Worked with electrical contractors, clients, City of Edmonton & EPCOR to guarantee the removal of deficiencies found during site inspections• Performed lighting calculations using AGi32 in order to meet IEEE guidelines & obtain LEED certification
