I never knew I would feel so excited by numbers but Accountancy made this happen when I chose Commerce after high school. I got into Guru Nanak Dev University's Government College on merit basis in Bachelors of Commerce, which I passed in first division. Moved to Canada for further study after Graduation enrolled in International Business Management and Organization Management Post Graduate Diploma Certificates. Even after completing these the passion for numbers didn't get satisfied fully.Last year, I started my CPA journey and seemed like everything fell into place. This was what I wanted from the very beginning. So far I have completed all my Non-core courses i.e. Introductory Finance, Economics, Introductory Management Accounting, Business Law ,Statistics, Information Technology and left with three core courses i.e. Taxation, Advanced Financial accounting and Performance management after completing Corporate Finance, Intermediate Management Accounting ,Intermediate Financial Reporting1 and Intermediate Financial Reporting 2.Over the last 3 and half years ,I was associated with Star Liquor and Wine Boutique as Supervisor till this January. Being with a growing small business was a massive learning experience ,not just building relationships with customers while executing new sales strategies to fulfill three basic goals of business which are generation of profit ,growth and survival but also encountered the back end working of a growing fast paced customer oriented business. I got total exposure of how to run a business starting from ordering keeping budgets in mind to distribution among 12 stores to putting products on shelves recognizing the importance of shelf space to selling the product to a customer who might have or may be haven't tried the product even once.Before Star Liquor my customer service experience started with KFC in Sudbury, Ontario still can't forget the initial days of work as that set the basis for where I am today considering B2C relations.I had an experience of working as an Accounting Intern at Milman Industries in Sudbury which generates revenue of $44.17 MILLION in sales.When I am not working or studying I usually do painting or read books.
