My responsibilities as Mechatronic System Engineer lie with the design of mechatronic system concepts for various products and solutions. Especially the link between system requirements, concept, integration and verification are my concern. Several projects that I have been involved with:- test design and equipment for a PCR-based diagnostic platform- 2DoF high acceleration, high payload lifetime testing- Usability and design improvement of a camera system for in the OR- Wearable device with medical grade vitals monitoringBetween 2019 and 2021 I was also involved in the technical challenges of servicing the Hemics HandScan in the field. A three month internship at Bioservo Technologies helping the team with the IronArm projectInvolved generating different solutions, evaluating the ideas, building different prototypes and making them ready for testing by subjects. Performed various tasks for different projects. Like: update CAD-files of products to their as-built status, writing instruction manuals for assembly and designing small interfaces for an ASML machine.

Enschede

Fulltime students projectStudent project in which 15-18 students take on the challenge to design and build a race car that runs solely on solar power. Project finishes with the World Solar Challenge, a 3000 km race through Australia.
