• Responsible for Business, shaping the curriculum and supporting a team to deliver. Working with employers to provide innovation and creative solutions in order to meet business objectives through tailored curriculum.
• Engage with employers to Identifying and exploit opportunities in relation to training and development
• Advise and produce processes in line with current educational policy
• Sector Skills Councils engagement for Health and Business which includes contributing to Higher Apprenticeship frameworks in Business
• Ensure productive relationship are built and maintained with employers AELP, HEI’s, SSC’s and Awarding organisations
• Advise and support delivery staff to implement key national educational policy within the sector

• Working across various programmes including the QCF, General Qualifications and Life skills Foundation Learning (FL), and Functional Skills (FS) with key responsibility to strategically engage with; Business Innovation.
• Managed a QCF readiness events engagement strategy being present at over 100 events and engaging with over 12000 delegates across the sector within 10 months
• Delivered seminars to key national stakeholders across the UK on FL and curriculum planning
• Created the first ever podcast to be profiled on the QCF
• Developed Recognition of Prior Learning policy which is to be used by over 2000 stakeholders
• Co-ordinated the QCF e newsletter with input from key national organisation, this is now transferred and used by Business innovation and Skills

• Working within this Awarding Body was to recruit and retain membership, provide advice and support to current and new centres on all aspects of accreditation, taking lead for private training providers within the.
• Healthcare sector lead, involves working with Sector Skills Council Skills for Care to develop Healthcare qualifications for approval by Ofqual
• Judge for regional and national NIACE Adult Learning Awards
• Deliver “how to market to the 14-19 sector” at the National conference attended by 250 delegates
• Develop bridging course from NVQ learners to enter higher education around study skills for Nottinghamshire Training Network which is now modelled by other private training providers
• Developed promotional materials for qualifications and national initiatives such as the QCF

• I lectured and managed four courses which included professional programmes accredited by OCR, Edexcel, AQA, Chartered Institute of Marketing, and Institute of Leadership and Management. Key responsibilities included:
• Creating dynamic and motivational learning, demonstrating a commitment to exceptionally high standards of learning and teaching. I
• Preparing team for Ofsted re-inspection
• Writing Self Assessment Reports exceeding national benchmark figures
• Mentored new teachers on a P.G.C.E programme carrying out lesson observations and coaching staff in gaining qualified teaching status.
• Produce materials for the Standards Unit which was rolled out nationally
