­- Responsible for the R&D strategy, business development and people management for ULP Circuits and Devices at imec & Holst centre. The program focused on building intelligent circuits and sensors for small battery operated and harvested wireless sensor devices delivering a breakthrough in low power consumption and functionality.­- P&L of approx. 15MEuro.

­- Account management. Set-up processes, procedures and standards to build and maintain the relationship with our bilateral partners ­- Building a healthy long-term partnership by measuring, evaluating and growing the interactions.

­- The European Microsoft Innovation Center, EMIC, was a collaborative R&D center with a 3-6 year outlook and a focus on software for mobile, enterprise and home applications. ­- Responsible for value generation for Microsoft via tech transfer & IP generation­- Ownership of the R&D roadmaps, resource allocation­- Partnership management, setup & execution.

At Philips Research, I set up and managed two European projects:- Amigo, www.amigo-project.org, an industry-driven integrated project which focused on middleware, services and applications for the connected home environment. 24 M€ cost, 16 partners, duration 3.5 years.- BETSY, www.betsy-project.org, a research-oriented project which focuses on theory.

­- System architect of Philips’ first Bluetooth Controller (PCF87750). ­- IC and its derivatives was sold more than 40 million times, making Philips Semiconductors nr.2 worldwide in Bluetooth modules at that point in time (2006 number). ­- Member of the standardization group.
