Awarded $7000 dollars by the Mogridge Center for Public Service through the Wisconsin Idea Fellowship to design, model, and build high quality compost boxes capable of Rapid Composting despite cold winters and partnered with a local community garden to provide free high-quality compost to gardeners and reduce food waste from local businesses.

Conducted research involving forming research questions, dissection, dye injection, and taking X-rays using a Faxitron. Acquired hands-on experience with various laboratory techniques and equipment.
