Maintenance And Validation Technician
CurrentHarold oversees the equipment quality system at BioLife Solutions. This system tracks calibrations, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment used throughout all departments, but most heavily focused in manufacturing. Harold performs validations on new and in-use equiment, writes reports of their results, and updates SOPs and other officail documents with current specifications and instructions. He also plans and executes onsite repairs in both the clean rooms, and the rest of the facility, working with contracts and manufacturers to implement improvements, and repairs througout the facility. This position requires skills ranging from quick response time when manufacturing has equipment failure, to being able to build user requirement documentation and contacting manufacturers for high end laminar flow grade A hoods used for production of crygenic media. Harold provides a wide experience range for the role, and is always eager to learn more about the medical production industry and GMP document management.
