As the Head Chocolatier and Production Manager, I was responsible for the timely production and packaging of all orders and product development projects, staffing and training the production and packaging teams, developing and implementing systems for maintaining inventory and equipment as well. The Second Judicial District Court criminal division is composed of ten judges who hear all felony cases, appeals of Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court criminal cases, extraditions of felons in other jurisdictions and requests for search warrants. As Presiding Criminal Court Judge, the Honorable Reed S. Sheppard oversaw the division as well as adjudicating matters assigned to his bench. As a Summer Clerk for the Honorable Reed S. Sheppard, I reseached legal issues, created briefings, provided recommendations and drafted select filings and decisions for review. I clerked for the Honorable Reed S. Sheppard for May - August in both 2011 and 2012.
