Responsible for providing Quality Control (QC) support for a wide variety of IT systems, to include: data and voice premise, Inside Plant (ISP), and Outside Plant (OSP).Lead technical efforts and provide expert consultation in the organizing of telecommunications installations on site. • Lead and support efforts in the translation of business requirements into IT requirements. • Perform inside/outside plant QC monitoring. • Witness cable testing and review test results. • Review and follow on-site installation schedules and task lists. • Review and document configuration changes for assigned install locations. • Provide comprehensive QC and installation reports.

Develops Communication Service Authorization (CSA) requirement packages. Uses Cyberspace Information Planning -System (CIPS) to transferrequirement packages between CSA customers and other acquisition team members. When CIPS is not available, transfers requirement packages via email between customer and CO/COR Provides periodic updates toTeam Lead and Government on status of CSA packages both in written (memos, reports, emails) and verbal formats (conversations, briefings, telecons). Develops and reviews acquisition and engineering documents and authors reports to Government and Team Lead on technical, interoperable and economic feasibility. Serves as technical advisor for assigned acquisitions to include evaluating and communicating offerors telecommunications proposals for existing and future technology. Analyzes and applies specialized communications methods and analytical techniques involving telecommunications systems (e.g.,systems compatibility, ASR circuits ordering with vendors, switches, distribution, satellitelinkages, and networking).
