I ran the workgroup that established the initial information integration, technical, and operational standards. In the area of Security, I drove the strategy of using tokenization to minimize PCI compliance costs of our distributed systems footprint (I am the author of a Marriott patent in tokenization technology). I also drove adoption and implementation of the internal Marriott PKI infrastructure using Entrust, which subsequently enabled many network and services-based projects that required secure communications in a cost-effective manner.I was a major participant in documenting the Enterprise application and technology portfolios, and led the effort to persist and report on that data using the Troux Enterprise Architecture tool. This effort established a system of record for our application and technology strategies, and enabled improved budgetary control through anticipation of changes in a rolling five year window.I was the lead Enterprise Architect involved in the development of the electronic folio (eFolio) system which delivers guest expense details to the Expense Management Systems of our major Enterprise customers. The eFolio system is an important component of Marriott’s customer retention strategy. I successfully proposed adoption of the HTNG eFolio XML format to standardize the exchange across all customers. I am currently the lead Enterprise Architect assigned to the team responsible for the development of a single successor solution to replace our current multiple legacy Property Management Systems. I am also engaged to assist in the development of Marriott's Cloud Strategy. Show less
