• System Monitoring and Control
• Oversees the real time monitoring and control of sub-transmission and distribution system via SCADA, ADMS, single line diagrams, GIS maps ensuring optimal system performance in accordance with guidelines embodied in.
• Monitor system parameters, alarms, events and immediately perform corrective actions and coordinate with the concerned engineers to respond to any abnormality
• Respond to system disturbance in the transmission and sub-transmission system and execute switching operations to restore interruption and restore the system compliant with N-1 contingency, in close coordination with.
• Perform restoration of outages in substation and distribution facilities through fault location isolation and restoration of healthy portion in close coordination with field crews and engineers
• Implement Manual Load Dropping and restoration of Automatic Load Dropping (ALD) during generation deficiency and plant outage to maintain frequency within limits in coordination with NGCP’s System Operator
