Processing journals and reconciliation

As an assistant financial accountant my duties involve uploading the data, processing depreciation, write-off of assets, reconciliation of assets register with GL, maintain an assets register. My duties also include preparing, reconciling and lodgement of BAS. I also assist financial accountant in processing F.B.T. Apart from this my jobs also involve banking, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, petty cash reimbursement management and import the journal in to finance one and maintain and updating the credit card register.

As an assistant accountant, my duties involved but not limited to entering supplier invoices, running payment for suppliers, providing ongoing support to other retail stores, generating the invoices and entering receipt. My role also required to deal with overseas creditor for conversion of foreign currency to Australian dollar.

As an accountant my duties involved preparing journal ledger, trial balance, balance sheet and financial statement of local firms. My role also involves preparing and lodging tax return of firms. This role required strong communication and customer service skill as I had to contact clients on daily basis to resolve various issues regarding their accounts and tax matters.
