Hi, my name is Harpreet Kaur. I completed my diploma in Early Childhood Education at Niagara College Canada. I am always willing to learn new things. I love the company of children and make interactions with them that’s why I chose this field. I think the role of the educator is to engage and participates in various development-appropriate activities with children and takes care of children’s health and well-being. I always seek out new learning opportunities and children express different thoughts and have many wonderful ideas. I believe that children are competent, capable, and curious. Throughout my program, I learned many valuable things that always will help me in my future. I learned how to observe the children and plan age-appropriate and play-based activities so children enhance their skills and foster their growth and development. I learned how to support children’s social, emotional, communication, cognitive and physical domains and how to plan activities according to children’s interests and needs. I am very excited to become a part of children’s development.
