As an RDE, I am responsible for driving an entrepreneurial agenda, along with my colleagues, in the Mid West region. My work involves working with entrepreneurs to define and develop their business proposition to the point where Enterprise Ireland will engage with the promoter and support he business idea to market. I work closely with the third level.

This role involved bringing third level programme delivery into Clare using a brokerage method. The project was somewhat successful with the establishent of the Clare Campus Skillnet that delivers level 6, 7 and 8 programmes and the Clare Regional Learning Centre established by the Shannon Consortium to deliver upskilling opportunities to mature students.

I designed and delivered bespoke training and consultancy in the areas of Strategic Planning and Project Management. I worked in all sectors with both multinational and indigenous companies.

I held a number of positions at the University of Limerick over a 10 year period.
