I started out in the IT industry back when I was still working at the Crowne Plaza Christchurch as an Assistant Manager. A role came up, part time Assistant Manager / Systems Administrator. I think they made the role up just for me to be honest, there was really no one else going to fill it. Lucky for me it all worked out and it wasn’t long until I was full time in the Systems Admin role. My business partner and joint founder of Computer Culture had previously been the Systems Admin for the hotel and ended up being my mentor while working for an IT company called TLC. One thing led to another and after about 2 years I was part of the team at TLC too.Kevin and I formed a strong bond and in 2007 Computer Culture was born (we actually posted a birth add in the press with an image of a stork holding a computer). Computer Culture has since grown and gone from strength to strength. What started out with just the 2 of us is now 18+ employees and is a company everyone can be proud of.I really love helping small and medium sized businesses get the most out of their IT and seeing that business grow. I like to make a difference and strive to do this with every company I have the pleasure to be involved. 🏄‍♂️On a personal front:I have always enjoyed keeping fit and healthy and TRY to keep active (work seems to get in the way sometimes…..you know what I mean 😉). The things I really enjoy doing are snowboarding, jet skiing, wakeboarding, indoor cricket, touch rugby, running and hitting the gym.
