Product Support Engineer
During my time at Supplenta, I primarily provided Product Support for our 3 main products; CallManager, Text Messenger and our Inventory iOS/Android app. My responsibilities included:- Lead a small team of support staff ensuring workload was delegated/shared equally to ensure productivitiy and quality is maintained- Provide product training (on-site and remotely) - Setup and configure ISDN30, SIP/IAX trunks for customers to use with our Call Centre software and diagnose any issues that may arise, working closely with telecoms providers- Install and configure Asterisk PBX ready for use with our software- Install and configure Linux (CentOS) and Windows (2008 R2/2012 R2) ready for use with our software- Setup and configure all aspects of 3CX Phone System and provide 1st line support- Run basic MySQL queries to provide more information/reports- Basic maintenance on Exchange 2010/2013 for account setup, distribution groups etc.- Manage Freshdesk ticketing system (something I implemented)- Liaise with an overseas development team daily to ensure product development is on track and discuss any bugs/fixes required for customers- Assist customers with IT related issues (when no IT is present), primarily via TeamViewer & LogMeIn.- Compile end of month figures for accounts teams- Setup and configure router/firewalls (DrayTek, Linksys, Netgear, TP-Link - all with UI) for port forwarding, ISP configuration, load balancing, dial-in VPN.- Provide customers with out of hours support- Attend sales meetings and follow up meetings to better understand the customers future requirements
