I currently oversee SB Nation's network of 21 team sites, including the three full-time Vox Media employees who work at them. I now additionally oversee a senior WNBA writer who covers women's basketball from a national perspective for us. Day-to-day, I do work with writers and editors to ensure high-quality content and make sure NBA-related partnerships are executed seamlessly, and everything in between.

Basically, keep the site running and growing while filling in whatever gaps need to be filled.

Fullerton, California

Organize meetings with professional journalists in the field to teach student members of SPJ tangible skills they can use to get employed moving forward. Manage the local chapter meetings and lead the student members, as well as coordinating conferences and trips while recruiting and training new SPJ members.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Writing shortform aggregation and longform content about the Los Angeles Lakers. Credentialed reporter who works home games and practices for both the Lakers and their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. Responsibilities include game coverage, previews, recaps, features, columns, shortform and longer aggregation, as well as in-person reporting at events, games and practices.

Exactly what it sounds like. Co-host a daily podcast focusing on the Los Angeles Lakers, with 30 minute to hour long episodes Monday through Friday. My co-host Anthony Irwin and I have grown our show into a top-100 sports podcast on iTunes in less than six months. In my time at the Locked on Network, my duties have included:- Co-hosting a daily show- Producing and editing those shows together- Marketing the show to sponsors- Completing live-reads to drive sales of our sponsor's products- Conducting interviews with various guests- Obtaining guests for the show- Writing articles to promote the show and managing our social media accounts

-Spearheaded SEO training that led to a 36% pageview increase. Did an independent study in the Spring of 2018 in which I compiled a 28-page report on how we improved our traffic as well as seeking out sustainable strategies for success moving forward. -Oversaw a newsroom that was nominated for more national awards than it ever had been under current advisor, as well as coming in second in the 2017 California Journalism Awards for writing, and being a finalist in state and national competitions for feature writing, sports writing, investigative reporting and opinion writing.-Was a finalist for a Hearst award for sports reporting in 2018, as well as contributing to a Hearst-winning story in 2017.-Assisted in running the Daily Titan newsroom.-Managed a staff of writers and help plan content budgets.-Edited, wrote and brainstormed content for a daily newspaper.-Managed Equipment.-Approved all headlines for web.-Assisted in Social Media.-Stepped in as Editor-in-Chief when EIC was unavailable.-Also served as the paper's first-ever Web Editor in Spring 2018, first-ever Sports Social Media Editor in Spring 2017, and Sports Assistant in Fall 2016.
