Concurrently managed two groups of actors that travel New Zealand and Australia performing to Primary and High Schools. My main role would be to liaise between the actors and the schools, making sure that everything ran smoothly for both parties, pre and post-performance.A main point of the role would also be managing the stress levels that are bred in the tour environment. I would need to hold mediation sessions between actors that would require problem-solving, be it face to face or by distance. I would also coordinate the tour schedule/flights/accommodation for all office staff across New Zealand & Australia. This also involved traveling with the actors abroad to maintain the quality of the product/ performance and ensuring the company is being represented in the best light possible.Nearing the end of every year I would arrange and see-through the entire audition process for each year of actors (promotion, venue hire, reference checking, hiring of actors etc.)At the beginning of every year I would assist the director in creating the shows that would be performed on that years tour. Making sure every department has their product in on time for the start of tour.

My role at Snap Ltd evolved over the time that I spent there. What started out as a Customer Service Rep, soon turned into Receptionist, then Office Coordinator. In the role of Receptionist, it was my duty to be the face of the company. I would greet customers, keep meeting rooms tidy, take incoming payments, bank payments accordingly etc.It was the role of Office Coordinator that I really felt like I was making a difference. It was that of an 'umbrella' role. One that would cover many different areas of the company. The role itself was very heavy on the organisational side, specifically for the executive team. I made sure that the executives of the company knew they had the appropriate/desired hotels, cars, flights, and eateries booked etc, all while meeting the companies budgets based on the role/level of the executives.A large part of the role involved the organisation of internal events for the staff, whether they were small end-of-week events (10-pin bowling, pizza, drinks and staff celebrations) or larger scale events (Christmas parties, launch events, award ceremonies). While I would regularly receive extremely positive feedback for the organisation of these events, I also found it important to seek constructive recommendations and feedback to improve them for the staff.Lastly I created a bi-weekly newsletter that would detail the successful achievements from the teams, their extracurricular achievements, and upcoming events that the staff would be interested in knowing about. I found it to be a successful and useful way to unite a large group of people with different backgrounds/interests.I enjoyed my time working at Snap - I really feel like it was a fantastic stepping stone into the career that I have today. The skills that I learnt from the executive team (and also my co-workers) were/are invaluable.
