About Harrison Tran
Neuroscience graduate from Brown University with a passion for community-building and medicine pursing my medical degree at UCSF. As a Neuroscience major, I am fascinated in the ways neural structures, biological molecules, and cellular reactions influence our behavior. More importantly, I have come to realize through my coursework how our experiences and backgrounds can influence such delicate systems. Coming from a first-generation, low-income background, I value the importance of promoting social support and empowerment for all the communities I am a part of. A proud Vietnamese-American, I am devoted to learning about the stories of the displaced and I am motivated to understand the profound effect this experience has on health.
