At Matthew Proctor Farms, Harrison Proctor supervises a team of 18 employees during the planting and harvesting seasons, operates heavy farming machinery, and manages complex irrigation systems. He is responsible for applying pesticides and herbicides under state regulations and managing distributor and retail relationships to handle produce sales, all while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Harrison’s goal is to leverage his finance degree to improve the agricultural business sector by helping farmers enhance their financial strategies and teaching others how to acquire additional farmland through better financial planning and management. Combining his hands-on farming experience with financial expertise, Harrison is committed to driving growth and efficiency in agriculture, focusing on long-term sustainability and the economic empowerment of farming communities. Harrison Proctor is a valedictorian of Fowler High School and currently a 4.0 GPA student at the University of Colorado Boulder, with 15.5 college credits, and Otero College, with 36 credits. He has held leadership roles in the National FFA Organization (president and treasurer), 4-H (sentinel), and Student Council (president), while also being a member of the National Honor Society. Harrison is a four-sport athlete (football, golf, basketball, baseball) and has significant community service experience, including volunteering with the YMCA and local FFA chapter.
