In my science classroom, curiosity motivated students to engage in hands-on experiences and serious peer to peer discussions. Every student experienced the excitement of learning science and developed an identity as a scientist. Students practiced growth mindsets through consistent use of rubrics, self-assessment, feedback, and revision.Family engagement was a top priority for me.
