Since November 2022, I have been working as a guitar and bass instructor with the Rock Project Cardiff and Swansea, teaching students aged 6-17 how to play instruments and rock music as a band.

As a session musician, I have been working with multiple bands including my own project (Rock the Mike, Bad Squirrel and Platform One) as well as providing services as a deputy musicians. This includes function, wedding, party bands and pit bands.

Alongside other work, I am currently teaching a handful of students in Blaenavon at Shining Stars Music Academy. This includes students from the ages of 6 - 40+.

In 2023, I was promoted to the Marketing manager and Summer School Project Manager at NYJC. This role entails the upkeep of the NYJC website using WordPress, creating and posting social media campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube, as well as online communications such as monthly newsletters created using Stripo and nadworks. The role also includes running the successful NYJC Summer School in August, which is a residential course that allows 100 young jazz musicians form 13-18 to learn and create music together. The Summer School consists of 4 different courses which run across two weeks which I have managed successfully for 2 years.I have also assisted with the audition tour, traveling around the UK to ensure that NYJC team is able to reach all of the young musicians across the country. My main role during the tour is to ensure that the day runs smoothly and on time by communicating with the young musicians, venues and NYJC team.

Following on my internship in 2020, I then stepped up to the Project Assistant role for their 2021 summer school in Repton School, Derbyshire. This role entailed of assisting the project manager at the Summer School, helping with the day-to-day running of the course including I was also responsible for leading some outreach projects in the local area by creating and distributing leaflets to advertise concerts taking place during the week.

As part of my degree, I completed an online internship with the National Youth Jazz Collective. I organised 15-20 young musicians through the online medium while using my technological skills to fix technical issues to guarantee that everything ran as smooth as possible. This presented many challenges such as making and recording music online via Zoom which proved to be very difficult due to issues with latency.

Throughout June 2024 I have been working for Deliver Crew and 24/7 Events as a stage hand. This role has included a wide range of jobs, including building and deconstructing stages, building sets and props, and acting as a stage hand during performances. In this role I have worked with large touring artists including Take That, PINK, Taylor Swift & the Foo Fighters in many prestigious venues such as the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol and Swansea’s Liberty Stadium.

I am currently working as a guitar & bass tutor with Gwent Music Service, teaching in multiple schools such at Primary, Secondary and College level.

In this role, I am in charge of managing all members of staff working on the checkouts, self-service checkouts, customer service colleagues and petrol colleagues.

In this role I worked on many departments throughout the store including on the checkouts, running the self-checkouts, working on the customer service desk and cigarette kiosk, serving in the petrol station, working on trollies, working on the shop replenishing the stock and serving in the customer cafe. I have recently taken a promotion to checkout team leader/supervisor.

This was a temporary role over the Christmas period of 2019. This role included serving customers, both at checkout and while browsing the store, and maintaining stock levels on the shop floor to ensure that customers were always able to browse the full range of products and sizes.

This was a summer internship with Dr Daniel Bickerton of Cardiff University. During this internship I created learning materials about the electric guitar to aid with some of Dr Bickerton's compositions modules taught in the School of Music. These learning materials included how to write music properly for the guitar and an explanation of how the electric guitar, equipment and effects work.

In my free time I was able to teach 4 young students, ages 7-10, guitar at a beginner level.

In this role, I served in a fast paced 4-star restaurant as part of the Celtic Manor group.
