Previously worked for the Dowden’s group since I was a teenager. Starting in the retail section of the business, cleaning shelves, re-stocking and packing boxes. Moving into industrial air pumps as a TA, assisting with the dissemble and reassemble of wilden air pumps. This job also included restocking the air parts as they were delivered. All this while completing year 11/12 OP at St Patrick’s college Mackay. Moving out of this role into a plumbing apprenticeship which was completed in November 2021. This apprenticeship focused on pumping systems, water treatment installs and maintenance, sewerage treatment plant installs and maintenance. Since completing my time I have enrolled in a licence to service course for domestic sewerage treatment plants (fujiclean,Sb440 supa treat and earth safe). I have aspirations to attain my certificate 4 in plumbing and complete an economics and business course or similar in the coming years. I have moved into a role with a local company, ABC, as a Minesite plumber. I believe that everything happens for a reason but we all are responsible for how our life pans out.
