I worked part time as a teaching assistant for CPSC 320: Intermediate Algorithm Design and Analysis, for 3 academic terms over 10 months. Algorithms are important, and understanding them well makes you a better programmer, so helping others build that understanding is a great feeling.My tasks included designing and running tutorials, hosting office hours.
