During my time at the University of Chicago I thoroughly engaged in critical analysis and study in political science and history, specializing in Russian history and international relations. Out of class I enthusiastically participated in organizations, internships and personal projects that made use of and expanded my skills and knowledge in those topics. During my time at the Urban Institute I used quantitative and qualitative analysis to conduct important research in labor policy and advise top governmental policy makers. I used my skills in writing and multi-source analysis to facilitate second track diplomacy and push American foreign policy forward. In my own time I created Barbarossa: Apocalypse in the East, a rigorously researched history podcast that amassed an audiences of thousands.
