The practice was highlighted in the leading consulting industry review publication, Kennedy Associates, as being in the “vanguard of new market entry strategy consulting providers”. The practice advised on transactions for clients--corporates, banks, institutional investors, private equity funds and sovereign wealth funds--not only on "inbound" investment from advanced countries into emerging markets but also "outbound" market entry into advanced country markets by investors domiciled in emerging markets. A growing part of the business also focused on cross-border transactions by entities based in one emerging market entering into another emerging market. Average annual consulting revenues were approximately $US 7 million on a global basis. Built a new team of 20+ professionals located worldwide. Clients were of diverse nationalities, and often engaged in high-impact investments in multi-country deals. The majority of engagements were generated on a proactive/sole-source basis.In addition to Senior Managing Director and running this management consulting practice, I also served as PwC's Chief Economist.
