On the 1st of December 2021 I completed 38 years of military service after being the 221st officer to be promoted to Army 4-star General since George Washington first achieved that rank in 1775. Serving my nation in uniform was the greatest privilege and honor of my lifetime.I culminated my military career as commander of US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM), a POTUS nominated and Senate confirmed position as one of 11 combatant commands within the Department of Defense (DoD). TRANSCOM operates the DoD's multibillion dollar global supply chain responsible for moving millions of passengers and billions of tons of cargo around the world annually to advance US security interests. In order to facilitate global reach and integrate the defense deployment and distribution enterprise TRANSCOM works closely with host nations and commercial service providers to maintain a responsive and resilient global multi-modal network ready to meet emergent missions. TRANSCOM provides the most responsive mobility enterprise in the world as evidenced most recently by support to the COVID pandemic and leading role in the historic evacuation of 124,000 Afghan evacuees from Kabul International Airport. I also led DoD initiatives to reform the $2.5B household goods portfolio.I am open to opportunities to assist the private sector with strategic planning, leader development, and supply chain expertise necessary to improve organizational culture and profit margins.
